does anybody know how i can make sure my nic/ethernet adapter in windows actually matches my nic? i have a sony pii 300 and the nic came with it - i have no manual. i'm trying to network it with a linux box. i can successfully ping the win box from linux. i can't see the linux box after configuring win95. i want to make sure all my ethernet card adapter is right before proceeding with troubleshooting. tia...
