it seems that some on this thread are quick to attack anyone who shows suspicion as to what is really going on.

have i completely discounted bin laden as a suspect? no.

do i trust cnn and the white house to give me the whole truth? no.

am i an american? yes.

am i 'anti-semitic'?' actually, i don't hold anything against anyone; at least that is the ideal. as for the word itself; i thought that the semites included arabs. it seems to me that, any more if you get into certain arugments you're automically 'anti-semitic.'

i would venture to say that one becomes what they despise.

as for fighting for 'freedom' or 'democracy.' first of all, democracy is un-american. it was never intended that a majority should be able to enslave a minority, but democracy is just that; mob rule.

'freedom' is also a ridiculous buzzword, especially in light of all of the emergency legislation being passed, and the creation of the 'office of homeland defense' (orwellian).

if you want to get a man excited about fighting for something, talk to him about 'booty.' a war is not really a war without booty.

like the guy in full metal jacket said, "if i'm going to fight for a word, it's going to be p-u-s-s-why!"

it just seems funny to me that now it's un-american to, for instance point out video which clearly shows some object unrelated to the 2nd aircraft, flying by the scene seconds after the second impact; and to note as well that not one word of this is mentioned in the mainstream press. it's just kind of sitting there on the fox site, but there is no mention of it; that's 'un-american' to post conspiracy theories.

i know that the rense and artbell sites are not the greatest places for getting factual information; on the other hand, when was freedom of thought or expression outlawed?

it's odd to me that a person can speculate, and be called un-american for it.

now, to be accused of 'not caring about those who died' is irrelevant to the debate at hand. the amount a person cares about the people who died has nothing to do with the issues being discussed here. if nothing else, i would certainly appreciate it if the posters here would stop throwing about such accusations.

you really don't know how much or how little i care. perhaps i don't even know. i have no idea how much or how little you care. i would certainly appreciate it though if people would stop using that - how much the other guy cares about the casualties - as part of a debating method.

finally, looking at these events; there's something about them which is simply 'odd.' it sure is a sad day though when speculating about such is 'un-american.' i thought that freedom involved having the write to think the unthinkable. is there now to be a law against 'saying the unsayable?' if the theories i present are patently ridiculous and false, such should be obvious, at least over the due course of time.

i simply have this sense that the people of america are being herded into something they would not go into were all the facts known. and don't ask me what the facts are; i've only been speculating.

i do know that there was a mystery object in one of the videos. i do know that the villification of bin laden - whether he turns out to be the only one involved or not - is textbook propaganda. beyond that i don't know.

but man, for me to be called un-american for speculating - for being open-minded; that's just fucking bullshit.
