Does anyone have a link to an article on the net talking about all the, I think the word use was jump seat, guest pilots there were on 9/11? I just caught a bit on local NY Fox and they said there were many flights with guest pilots in the cockpit in a spare jump seat when the flights got canceled. This is sounding more and more like Pearl Harbor, the USA has been enjoying the good life while a threatening foe grows strong & bold while we pretend we are safe from it. I think the government is dreaming trying to save some airlines. The more people hear these newscasts about the security threats with air travel the more months they will put off traveling. How many people here have used business travel as an excuse to get away, when the net effect of teleconferencing on would have been more effective? i.e. maybe the teleconference was not as good as face to face, but you had more time in the office to take care of other issues. I imagine many people will elect to stay in the office for some time.
