Bush seems to be doing his best to rise to this terrible challenge, but I know that I'd rather have Gore in charge (and even more prefer McCain, as long as I'm "rathering."

I'm not sure how anyone could improve on Bush's performance in this attack; but there is no question that Gore would have made a mess of it -- I cringe at the thought of having either Clinton or Gore at the helm during a crisis of this proportion. Man, the thought of it is frightening.

I suspect a lot of people who were for Gore now realize you can't vote based on your liberal agenda taken alone. Liberals are clearly inferior at handling foreign policy, and now I believe even many liberals recognize this fact.
