ps - good thing amzn has an excuse not to make their phony numbers q4 -vbg-

Any excuse is total bull. Bread and butter products are selling like crazy. That is what Amazon claims to sell. Luxury products and travel related products in in a recession. Amazon does not sell any of those. Any drop or lack of growth in the sales of Amazon would have occurred regardless of the economy.

Would an experience retailer at Amazon please speak up? I doubt that will happen because there are none. We have a retailing firm with mangement wihtout any retailing experience.

By the way, my projection is David Jewelers will do more revenue on-line than Ashford.com in Q4 2001. Ashford.com has burned more than $100 million since inception I believe. Capital expenditures for David Jewelers for the on-line initiative is in the neighborhood of $75,000.

Who was the person that made a post on this thread that Amazon had top notch management?
