Not to push the point, but how do you know JDS Uniphase will be profitable once things turn around?

I don't, but how do you know Apple won't release its OS 10 for Intel based processors for free and really put a dent into Microsoft's earnings. I could easily see 10% of the market move to a Intel based computer running Apple OSX. So many people would like to get away from Microsoft based products. What if RedHat releases a user-friendly version of linux?

As of right now, JDSU's break even point is 350 million. They just announced they plan to do 325 million. By the 4th quarter of 2002, I'd think things would have improved.
