Richard D. Hearney to its Board of Directors. Hearney, a highly decorated retired Marine Corps officer, also served as vice president, business development of Western Europe for McDonnell Douglas Corporation. He then became vice president of Military Aircraft and Missile Systems Group for the Boeing Company. Hearney is currently president and CEO of Business Executives for National Security (BENS), a non-partisan organization of business leaders who apply lessons of their successful businesses to making our country safer and more secure.
