In other words, first design win for a product introduced
just a couple of days ago. They are targeting a field with
a combined market of over $200 M/year. It's a new product with proprietary technology. Mixed signal products like those introduced are less vulnerable to margin erosion than FLASH and EEPROM. Hopefully CATS will keep developing this kind of products and move away of the commodity market.
