You don't have to hit a Bre-X or IOM to have a winner in shorting a stock. That said -- this stock is so well known, there may be other less-well known candidates for shorting.

Also, I give AOL at least a 15 - 30% chance of winding up like IOM or even Bre-X. There will be a time when this dog doesn't bounce in the next year or so. You wait and see. I may not have a position to profit from it, but I'm convinced it will happen. Absent a complete change in business plan -- AOL will not turn a profit. Do you know the business? Internet is hot right now -- bunch of new firms. How many do you think are going to make it. Is it content or access that's important? Give us your thoughts.
