WRONG! That is the biggest crock of propaganda I ever heard. The SEC will nail a Pump that runs a price up and sells into it but will not touch the real Manipulators (criminals) that short and then run to the boards and distort not to mention since on the OTCBBs only the MMs can do it and thus the MMs spread it out to portect the shorts.

I go buy a stock and I go long. My broker decides he has nothing so he takes MY stock and loans it to a short who SELLS MY POSITION into the market and places that SHORT POSITION against MY holdings and then THAT SHORT goes out to the boards and LIES to get compitulation and to kill the interest in MY INVESTMENT but does not worry about the regulators and IF I get frustrated and sell MY position the short criminal buys MY position to cover HIS manpipulation.

The WHOLE CONCEPT STINKS! If the SEC is going to remain one side on the law and not regulate the market that is NOT suppose to SHORTED because it is NOT marginal then the criminals will continue to MANIPULATE the market and STEAL from investors.

That's alright as soon as the small investors figure out they need to write into the SEC and their congress persons and raise sands, shorting will be a thing of the past and suppy and demand will come into play and thus investing in the market instead of the traders.
