Unless you have one of those Nielsen set boxes, it won't make a difference. News report out of Reuters last night that it won't label WTC criminals "terrorists," because, after all, one man's terrorist is another man's "freedom fighter." ABC won't let its reporters wear flag pins, as that would somehow "compromise" their news, but at the same time during the last two weeks, ABC changed its Baywatch-yellow channel identification page from "American Broadcasting Company" to "America's Broadcasting Company" to capitalize, I suppose, on all the "American" sentiment.
As for CNN, who is this Aaron Brown guy? Where'd he come from? I heard his back and forth at various times with Bill Schneider (quel jerk!) and Jeff Greenfield (an okay guy), and I wouldn't trust Aaron Brown with anything of value, like national security.
Consumer confidence numbers, although pretty bearish, were good enough to goose this market a little.
