Why would people think that the old CFO (he left in 1994) working for another company would have anything to do with PAIR activity today? Do you really think that has any impact at all? I don't. No one knows why a stock does what it does. People have many different reasons for buying or selling stock. No one could possibly know anyone's reasons except their own! The Market Makers are having a great time with PAIR on days like this! They run the price down real fast, causing panic selling, and then when buy orders come in, they quicky bid the price up! The daytraders that bought it at 16 to 16 1/4 will be out of this thing as soon as it starts to move south! As far as the current CFO being on vacation, how do you know what would determine his timing? Maybe things are so bad that he needs it? You can't possibly know!
