One of Dubya's campaign promises was that the US would no longer be the policeman of the world. I think we are attempting to build a coalition which will bring other countries into the act of preserving peace. The most important factor bringing us all towards peace is connection - telecommunications, the Internet. The more we learn, the more we know, the easier it is. Perhaps the baggage handler in Saudi Arabia thinks our support of the present government in Saudi Arabia is troublesome, but we can't make everyone happy. It is ironic that the result of terrorism will be strengthening of the governments which are already in place.
