Kash: The facts are that this chipset family is aimed at POWER users.

These guys want ultimate in performance.

A middle of the road integrated graphics wont cut it.

For the value market this chipset is a non starter due to its expense.

No one (that I've heard, at least) ever expressed the belief that the integrated graphics of the nForce would be faster than a GeForce3 - or even a high-end GeForce2.

That said, what NVIDIA is doing is somewhat experimental. They are aiming for the mid-range, at least with the 420-version of the chipset, a market segment that hasn't been exposed to integrated graphics yet. What will market acceptance be like? Will the (supposedly) high quality integrated audio score with potential buyers?

And we still don't know what final motherboard prices will be like&#133
