But, the price is about the same for a PIII/i815 combo and an Athlon/nForce combo, based on the prices being talked about. Now the price is weighted towards the chipset more than the Intel solution, which is bad for AMD, but the total cost is likely to be the same or less for much better performance.

Besides, the real sleeper is the nForce 220. Since the nForce chipset supports PowerNow!, it would make a great sealed box for the corporate market. Whether or not it will actually be used for that is a different, but more important question...
