Not at all, I propose waging a war against terror as the President said he would in the beginning. Terror does not equate with middle eastern ethnicity. If the response is directed only to those immediately involved in the events of Sept 11 then it is a large scale police action. It is find these crooks and put them away. A war on terrorism means going after terrorists and their infrustructure whether that infrustructure is in Syria, Iran, Ulster, Bogota, or Afganistan. It's a war against ideas, a war against international lawlessness, not against a particular group of people. It means going after the causes and not just the angry individuals. For the most part the pain will be the same, it is the results that will differ. I propose that the President not subject the world to years of death, expense, retailiation, fear, and hate and still come up short.
