Luc:

I "unboxed" IBM right at the opening as Louis had nothing to say.

This morning's action has been very encouraging. I worried that Monday's rally might be a "one day wonder" which was the reason I jumped back into the short scene so quickly. If they don't turn this around before the close, it may well get ugly very quickly.

For the record, I intend to move slowly but surely towards a "short and hold" strategy. Not to say that BIG short term profits won't be milked, but I smell very dire days ahead. Shortly, it weill become evident to even the blindest sheep that Q3 is a full-blown clanger. It shouldn't take them long to come to recognize that Q4 will be worse. And then of course, there are "redemptions" (that ancient word from the past that most thought had been expunged from the new world dictionary), which ought to assist some funds to reach for the "sell" button.

It is going to be a very interesting and "colourful" fall. (g)

Best, Earlie
