Thanks, Guys, for all the comment. Since there is not much interest in selling CC's at these prices, I guess no one will object to my discussing my experiment in losing more money though short sales.

On upside protection, my thinking is:

1) using QQQ is pretty good protection in itself. A single stock could spike on good news in the midst of this mess, but QQQ is not as liable to.

2) A "Stop Loss" is subject to selling me out on a spike. I have never liked it, up or down, for that reason.

I guess I have grown hair, fangs, and claws over my horns and hoofs! I am very short term bearish right now. Long term, I expect to be back in, but not for a while. Am I over reacting to being in Waikiki? Probably The Local Paper admits to a loss of 30% of the mainland tourists, and 55% of the Japanese. I think it is closer to 50% and 80%, respectively, here.

I eat once a day at a popular noodle shop down the street. It has 13 stools, and is always full. This week, I have been the only one at the counter. The main drag, Kalakaua, has always been full of tourists. It is a ghost street now.

Hey. the hookers say it is so bad that men are staying home and having sex with their wives!
