hi Mike, actually, i was joking in my first message. but then i ended up giving a serious reply in my second one. i understand what you mean about minimizing risk as far as product adoption is concerned (as i stated in my message, and i know that was your context), but then i extended the discussion to a wider understanding of risk reduction. the juxtaposition of the two contexts was the basis for the joke. by the way, i agree with you that there is validity to the GG focus on product adoption. but i think that is only the beginning of the discussion of whether something is a good investment at a given price.
