I wonder if that means in addition to what they've already done or promised. With a 40B tax rebate, 15B to the airlines, 40B in emergency anti-terror and NYC aid, we're already nearly to 100B. Another 100B would push the total to 2% of GDP. And a line of industries is forming, their hands out, insurance at the head of the line. A line of government agencies is forming, with their hands out also. The Government Intelligence agencies (oxymoron!) wants a new PC on every desk. Hard to see how this is going to help find which Afghan cave Bin Laden is in tonight. Seems to me we need to get them away from their desks, out on the streets and mountains, looking and listening. But they are going to get their PCs.
