welcome to the exceptional club then! regarding the economics profession, the Economist once did a long term study, involving professional economists and house wives, who were asked to make predictions on the future course of both the UK economy and markets up to ten years out. after the 10 years had passed, it was found that the house wives had a better handle on the future than the esteemed dismal scientists. which places economists on the usefulness scales on about a similar rung as WS 'analysts'.
