I hesitate to express it publically because it might be considered wacky but what the hell?? have at me if you like. In additon to other ideas that have been suggested, suppose the pilots' cabin were made airtight (is this possible?) and the pilot could release a sleep inducing gas into the passenger compartment. (does such a gas exist?) In the event of trouble the gas could be released and all of the passengers including terrorists would fall asleep and the pilot could land at the nearest airport. (would this be to easy to avoid by smuggling a gas mask on board?) Little joe
