CHARLOTTE'S
Coach was casting out a net for opinion on CWNT. I think he viewed it (financially) as a sink hole which was just eating up resources and never going to sell anything, really.
Sector voiced an opposing view that there was just BEGINNING the market for such boxes, and the potential for that sub-set of the industry was much greater than anybody realized.
Maybe other people have commented as well.
My view is that there probably is enough in the box, at a negotiated, but still good price for many customers (primarily corporate), that they could be sold, profitably. But my concerns have been that they may not know how to get the product into the right sales channels. Can they?
Then too, what do you make of a company that thinks that they can support world-wide installations from A (meaning single) base in Israel. Can they? Are they the new EMC in terms of world-wide control room operation? REALLY ????
So my opinion is that I agree with Sector. AND Coach! Based on the odds, for and against, I would say CWNT is a 10/1 horse. Just for the record, even though I don't play horses, here are all my quotations:
CWNT 10/1 N-Base 7/1 Zaffire/Centerpoint 5/1 Zuma 3/1 Luminent 3/1 Optical Access/Crossing 2/1 The rest ?/?
Since we are in a race meet(pretty long one), in which we have all of these horses running (in different races) it is not too easy to be able to calculate potential results at this time. Every race has formidable competitive horses. Some are not as good as the MRV offering, technically, but others are better in some ways. Most, however, are pretty effectively sold!
I personally think that MRV will come up with 2, maybe 3 winners, but I don't quite know what they will be. The best I can do is give you the odds table listed above.
Namaste!
Jim
