>>Your whole purpose is to crush your competition.<<

Exactly the sentiments that powered the rise of communism. Without competition, you can dictate your market - or your country. What do you think Tienamen Square was about, if not crushing the (ideological) competition?

Competition is essential to capitalism and to democracy. You are taking a stand against both.

>>I'm proud of them<<

Sounds to me that you would also have been proud of the way Soviet tanks crushed their competition by rolling into Hungary and Czechoslovakia. You must also have been disappointed when competition was reintroduced with the fall of communism in 1989. As you most certainly will be again. When the people eventually are given a choice, they won't walk away from Microsoft, they will run.
