I don't like Arafat. He is corrupt. I think the key to Palestinian success is not in violence vs. non-violence. It is in changing the opinion of the U.S. As long as the U.S. endorses, funds, and arms the Israeli occupation, it will continue. As far as propaganda goes, I have found Jews to be the most indoctrinated group of people anywhere, when it comes to the topic of one's own ethnicity. Even some the most liberal and pacifist Jews suddenly transform themselves when the topic become Israel. They suddenly do everything in their power to suppress free speech, they go to great lengths to explain away fascist tendencies in the Zionist cause, and they feel no remorse about Israel's military aggression.
