MigraTEC Participating in Microsoft 64-Bit Evangelism Tour in Europe
MigraTEC is now touring Europe with the Microsoft 64-Bit Evangelism team, appearing in their free, day-long seminars teaching their independent software vendor (ISV) partners about new products for Windows 64 bit Edition. During lunch at each of the four stops, MigraTEC's Vice President of Professional Services, Alan Larson, will present, "Getting Ready for 64-Bit," addressing issues that all ISV's face in migrating applications to 64-bit Intel® Itaniumâ„¢ processor-based systems.

Further evidence that Migratec's OEM activities (Microsoft, Intel, Compaq) are being strengthened in Europe. All major European markets appear to be covered in this tour, i.e. Sweden for the Nordics, London for the UK, Koln for Germany and the Benelux, and Paris for France. As a note, I did not see the name of Fujitsu Siemens Computers - first computer vendor in Germany - in this list. I can only suspect that Migratec work with them as Siemens UNIX servers support Solaris.
