What could we have done? We were in a cold war against communism at the time. It was mainly focused on the USSR but China would hardly have listened to our protests or requests that they stop. According to this link churchward.com The CIA did start arming the Tibetan resistance. We didn't start until the late 50s (years after the invasion) and the resistance didn't amount to much in the face of the red army but we did make some effort. Tim
