Well, that syndrome of not replying to what they perceive as bad fr. in fr. is fairly common throughout PQ as well as Ontario. There are a number of reasons for it. It may be that they want practiquer notre anglais, it may be that they feel you wont understand the fr. they speak as it is mostly joual and patios or it may be that they really don't like anglaisphoneys. We can generally tell, though, when people are playing games though, can't we. Impatient or dismissive people are not hard to spot. At least they are being honest if not enlightened. EC<:-}
