Tenchusatsu, Re : "You should tell that to the Taliban. I hear they are very open to Western ideals preached by women." Can't defend taliban's record on womens right. But does it occur to you that Pakistan (close ally of Afghan/Taliban) has had a women prime minister and USA after 220+ years of independence, hasn't had one women close to being the head of state ? Do we really listen to what women have to say in this country ? I am certain we have a very civilized reason for that. Maui.
