The only moral thing about handling war is to have it end quickly. Many will die. whether shot in the head, nuked, gassed, or beheaded, you're just as dead. We are currently in the process of "Know thy enemy". Once we know them I hope we strike the right targets, and in a way that discourages further problems down the road. If that requires brutality, so be it. Liked the idea of executing the family members of terrorists that kill others, but am cautious because of the fact that Israel doesn't do it already. It seems that it would be highly effective so why isn't it normal operating procedure there? Perhaps we are missing something. The middle east embraces the concept of "an eye for an eye" found throughout the old testament. That is why Iran says our response would be "justified". We have been attacked in an brutal way, killing many innocent civilians. We simply have to demonstrate that we have found those responsible before we act.
