What are you expecting? The President already clearly said we will fight the terrorists on many fronts, and some victories will not be known or made public for the obvious reasons of security, no doubt he was referring to our intelligence and insurgency efforts in that region..... what makes you believe nothing is now being done? You can bet British and U.S. Delta forces and Ranger forces are already inside Afghanistan and scouting terrorist encampment positions... you have something to learn about intelligence and counter intelligence activities, including insurgency activities among the civilian population... this would include the very likely on going contact with the Northern Alliance (NA) who are now in armed conflict with the terrorists every day for the past two weeks... two weeks ago, the NA claimed control of 5% of the northern tip of Afghanistan... today they claim 10% of that region... is that not progress? They know the terrain, they know the language, they have the experience fighting in that kind of terrain... we're letting them engage the enemy until they finally need our support... Are you expecting a televised computer war the way we fought in Desert Storm? We're not going to throw our troops into a battle without letting the NA test the strength of the enemy for us... President Bush already said, "I'm not going to fire a 2 million dollar missile at a ten dollar tent just to hit a camel in the butt."
