That sort of depends on how you define our finest moments.
When I read the article about the Catholics working for peace I thought that was pretty fine.
And In the Holocaust, there were many people who risked their lives and their families lives for others, which is also fine.
Gandhi was fine. Maybe even finest.
And so is the Dalai Lama.
At least in my definition.
Science is great, but it isn't humanity, it isn't morality.
It is very fine as science, but I have always felt our finest moments had to be just a little bit more. To steal from Dr. Seuss, another fine man.
