Maybe Wisconsin has some surplus dairy products to donate to the Afghani people. ;-) In all seriousness, the bombs or guns should be used on the thugs, but the people themselves have been suffering from one set or another of thugs for centuries. The best way to get the people on our side is not to shoot them, it's to feed them and educate them and oversee the installation of a system that gives them hope instead of despair. All of that may well be impossible, but I would rather see that tried rather than subdividing a country of rubble into more and smaller piles of rubble.
