Just covered Tuesdays's shorts so we probably have further to go down if my timing is as bad as the last time I covered. Bought some PSFT again at 16, last time I bought it at 26, and sold at 23.

Was going to buy BRCD at 13, then I noticed it is still selling at 5x sales, even down here. How in the world did that ever get to 200! We have only ourselves and ignorant, cocky Wall Street analysts and investment bankers to blame.

And did you notice that most of the stocks in the SOX that Jonathan Joseph upgraded over a month ago have now been cut in half. The SOX was so overvalued by any method, yet they kept pumping, even Goldman. Only Dan Niles and a few others were brave enough to tell it like it was. And to think that those MFs all probably make over a million a year.

Even today, most of these Naz stocks that have dropped to unfathomable levels are still overvalued when using traditional fundamental analysis. Sept. 11 just helped them find their true levels faster then they would have otherwise.

Did you see the joke email going around, only funny cuz it's true. An investment one year ago of $1000 dollars worth of Budweiser in cans would now be worth more today, than had you invested in Nortel. (Based on the deposit value of all the empty cans.) So I guess someone sitting in a trailer in Arkansas drinking beer all day is happy.

edit: brcm nearing 18...
