Carter got them out...reagan kept them in until he took power...and gave Iran arms to pay them off for the favor. I personally know those involved with the successful negotiations that did get them out. And it was 98% done under Carter...and reagan made sure the problem remained so in order to win his first election. All with the help of those wonderful terrorist training folks like Ollie and Eliott... CC
