I was thinking about extremist Christianity recently some pockets of US Christiandom bother me with their teachings such as: - a divorced man cannot remarry - no abortion even after rape by scumbad lunatic - attacks on NYCity are justified by acceptance of homosexuality and abortion I am a Christian my beliefs are that homsexuality is way off the scale perverse and that abortion should not be used as a family planning tool but that is just my belief as I sat and thought last night, I wondered what our society would be like if we succumbed to a rapid flight backwards toward a severe reactionary Christian justice code such as: - the family of a stabbing victim in public square ceremoniously stabs the convicted assailant in the heart (eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth) - an adulterer is stoned to death by a jeering crowd - a person who blasphemed is hanged - devil worshippers are cast into a fiery pit what an incredible reactionary society that would be these Islamic fundamentalists are off the chart I would love to know what they would describe as a perfect world I am very pleased to hear the Saudi Mufti speak against them but I also expect in time for the Saudis to be targeted by BenLaden / jim
