Lightspan Signs Multi-Year, Million Dollar Internet Subscription Contract With Texas School District
SAN DIEGO, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Lightspan, Inc. (Nasdaq: LSPN - news; the Company), a leading provider of quality curriculum-based software and Internet products and services used in schools and homes, announced today that it has signed a three-year, million dollar contract to supply Internet subscription products and professional development services to the San Antonio Independent School District (ISD).
San Antonio ISD is the 8th largest school district in Texas, serving over 55,000 students in 93 schools. Under terms of the agreement, Lightspan will provide The Lightspan Network to 73 schools and eduTest.com to 81 schools. Lightspan currently has over 3,300 Internet subscription schools across the country.
