There's a special kind of stunned look you see on the people coming out of the meetings where they've been told they are losing their jobs. It's not like they screwup up or anything, everyone is telling them "You're a great worker, buttt!".

They're thinking of the payment on the pickup and why they demanded 4 wheel drive instead of 2 wheel drive which boosted the cost a few more thousand, and how good they felt when they drove it up to show their buds, and that maybe they could save up for a ski-doo and it would fit right in the back. And now their walking out stunned wondering if burger flipping will meet the payments, and wondering if the burger barn still has an opening. The people who weren't invited to the meeting want to look to see if it's a friend walking out, but they don't want to look anyone in the eye.
