Should Americans Moslems moderates(say from India or S.Africa or born here) be killed or imprisoned because of the deeds of Arab Moslem extremists?
No, there are too many of them. There are ten million moslems in the US. For bullets alone that is perhaps 5 million dollars. If we employed 5,000 hit men at 500 dollars a day and they could kill 10 moslems each per day, that is 50 dollars per muslim, or 505 million dollars plus meals on the road, car allowance and cremation. We are looking at perhaps 4 or 5 billion to take care of all the bodies. Prohibitive. Prison is 30,000 per man per year, right out of the question. Of course it is cheaper than one world trade centre, but would be very unpopular. I have no doubt that scores of innocents would die.
We could, however, deport all the radical political ones and suspected terrorists. Unfortunately most moslems are radical and most dislike US foreign policy. We would be looking at 1 million deportations and that would probably not solve the problem either.
How do you tell a moderate or supporter from an extremist? Most so called moderates would not be truthful about their political or religious beliefs. All extremists will hide too. Membership in things Like Islamic Jihad political fronts have been popular but that will probably go underground.
A 5th column is very hard to root out. It is probably, in that case, fair to aske them to police themselves, turn the terrorist in and work with us.
They should also change their political and religious rhetoric to harmonize their belief system such that the prosletyzing admonitions of their religion is clearly spelt out to be not a reason for war or violence. It is clear in the Koran and the Tabith that it is incumbent upon a Muslim to convert by the sword any government or person that is not Muslim.
If they do not clearly eschew goverment by theocratic autocracy and teach the rejection of violence as a means of religious conversion then they should be shunned and expelled from our society. We should not decry this attitude as there is no Muslim society that we could live in safely. All are hideously tyrannical and intolerant of other religions. Call it an abberation of true Muslim belief, but it cannot be just highly co-incidental that it is so widespread amongst Muslim nations. If Muslim is the religion of peace, then why is every Muslim nation soaked dishonourably in the blood of innocents?
If they cannot reacant this precept of the Muslim religion, then we cannot have anything to do with them except the eventual vector of their own religion and that is war.
