I kind of doubt whether they bought any. There is no compelling reason for them to buy in this environment. Mutual funds have to report whatever they have on the books as of the end of tomorrow. I think a bunch of institutional selling is going on. They take the loss and then buy back if the economy starts to turn. But others are buying from them. The old buy volume equals sell volume trick. It will be interesting to see if they report any buying when they release earnings in November.knc
