There was nothing that compared with Pennaluna and their penntrade.com as of six or eight [ten?] months ago, according to a US friend .... you mentioned them here i think, i passed him the url, and he was tickled with them last i heard, maybe three months ago .... he had tried TDW, didn't work well for canadian listings from the US [works fine the other way, for canadians playing US, just fifty per cent higher commissions that's all] ... this guy used to have a canadian account and could have kept it if he hadn't closed it out in a misguided effort to simplify his life, now he can't start one up .... however with a little fudging and the use of another friend's address in México, he could, apparently .... but for easy and hassle-free there is nothing that beats penntrade for US residents, for now, in his opinion .... cheers
[edit] - this company will i expect have something in the works as soon as they can chop back the regulatory jungle enough - seglobal.com ... they have direct trading on US listings, and have acquired a US b/d ... no canadian presence as yet, but it's coming seglobalalliance.com ... i hold paper in its parent company, cpt.v
