Mr. Clancy left out no secret technology. Jstars was used in 1992 and it use would make several of the battles in his books have a result with little difference than in the Gulf War. watman.com This is an old public image. Also I'd say the technology is more like 5 to 6 years old and now 13 to 15 years more advanced than it was in 1992. Yes I did the math right. Also the cots use in military systems has greatly simplified upgrading. The computing power of a super computer of 1988 can just about be embedded in a weapon today for 500 bucks. tom watson tosiwmee
