Force, force, and unrelenting force, I believe, is going to be the only workable solution, however desperately many of us wish otherwise.

And while we use that force to eliminate the clear and present danger, we must also work to make sure that more terrorists are not created to raise their ugly heads in the future.

For that we must have a foreign policy that does not put in non-representative puppet governments in foreign lands. These govts that are put in purely for selfish reasons such as cheap and easy supply of oil and who suppress their people's freedoms. And where we provide aid, we must make sure we provide it for altruistic reasons and not selfish ones; that the aid reaches the people and purpose for which it is given and not to line the pockets of officials who will do our bidding. Remmeber you cant fool all the people all the time !
