I don't see that you contribute much, Puck, except the stray bit of news here and there. Leads me to suspect that though you are long on insults, you are short on substance.
I'm ignorant about a lot of telecom issues, and I'll be the first to admit it. That's the reason I ask questions and dig about. This board is a good source because it is more or less a place for devil's advocates, like Eric L and Illmarinen, who I know feel the same way about me that you do. The difference, Puck, is that those two are genuinely knowledgeable and are generous in sharing their knowledge, though there is friction in the process. Despite your exaggerated sense of self-importance, you are as valuable as tits on a boar.
If you read my posts, you'll know that I'm not a Nokia shareholder. So your comment about me not being smart enough, or whatever, to be a Nokia shareholder is reflective of your ignorance.
The information on the EUR $3.6bn in 3G loan commitments is straight out of the Nokia 2000 20-F as is the information about the three biggest companies to which the commitments are made being European. They are Hutchison UK (which doesn't have a network at all, as far I know), Orange, and another German company whose name I forgot. Nokia clearly describes the substantial risks involved in financing networks.
