PK and ALL, Unbelievable. I had another wreck coming home from work today. And it was exactly like the first one. The guy ran a light. This was a much softer collision. And my mother wasn't in the car this time. And, this guy drove away from the scene of the accident. Fortunately, a witness got his license number. And I got two other witnesses to admit he ran the light. Geez, Louise, I'm getting afraid to drive. Of course, had I been walking or on a bike, it would have been MUCH worse on me.
The car only got some scrapes, but, damn it, the thing is 6 months old and still smells new. Or, when I'm in it, like a gnu. <g>
Anyway, I get to play insurance roulette again. I have sure been lucky on finding witnesses. One thing for sure. If I ever witness an accident, one I'm not in for a change, I'm going to be a witness for the innocent party. Otherwise, it is the bum's word against the safe driver's.
BTW, I wasn't hurt. Physically. Very, very angry, and that may be why the guy drove away. <g> |
