Hey, that reminds me of the biggest hassle I ever had getting into the US on the way to the Bahamas.
Edmonton Int'l, I was on some sort of healthy thing kick, sorta, and had a pile of vitamins and other supplements, counted out for the two weeks, then all thrown in together in one bottle. US Customs decided to open my carry on bag, checked the bottle, and then took off with it to ??? and told me to wait "over there". I did, 15 minutes later another guy comes back, with my bottle, and a book with pictures and descriptions of all sort of pills...they'd identified all but one, and wanted to know what it was, I told them, then said, hell, keep the damn things if you want.. they didn't and let me go.
Next day, get to my buddy's boat in the Bahamas, after going through Bahamian customs as well....we're stowing our stuff, and he pulls out a bag of weed, and a bag of hash, that he'd had in his shaving kit....no one even looked at him.
