tcmay, You have been out of the 'fire storms' lately. Maybe I can get you active again! When George W. gave the order that military intercepters jets may shoot down hijacked passenger planes if deemed necessary in order to prevent such a flying bomb from doing greater damage. The problem here is that an intercepter jet may arrive too late, as I believe was the case of the plane that hit the second WTC tower. I have solved the problem of a late arriving interceptor jet. Simply arm all passenger planes with a self destruct, remotely triggered, device. Remote controls could be issued to the crew, so that prompt action could be taken. tc, My wife says that I am nuts!
