Your oversimplifications are gross, and grotesque. In the US, should black people pay reparations for slavery? It's a ridiculous question. How about people who immigrated to the US after the Civil War? Again, ridiculous. What about white people whose forefathers gave their lives to combat slavery? Ridiculous, too. Their ancestors paid the ultimate price.

What about black people whose ancestors owned slaves? There were some, you may not know, but it's true.

Why should I pay reparations for the sins of someone I never knew? No way related to me at all?
