I'm in a new firestorm tonight. The PC weenies don't like having "persyns of color" badmouthed, even if niggers call each other niggers.

"I have solved the problem of a late arriving interceptor jet. Simply arm all passenger planes with a self destruct, remotely triggered, device. Remote controls could be issued to the crew, so that prompt action could be taken.

"tc, My wife says that I am nuts! What do you say?"

1) Terrorists might use the self-destruct codes. Over a city.

2) Very few people will actually suicide...they have hope that something can be done at the last moment. Cyanide pill experience shows this. Airline pilots will hope for last minute salvation; few will willingly self-destruct.

3) Many passengers will NOT ride in a plane with such a self-destruct. This would destroy what is left of the U.S. airline industry.

4) It is better to adopt the Israel El Al solution: double doors to the cockpit (allowing pilots access to forward restrooms). Doors locked. No communication with rear of plane, to stop them from being "humanly sympathetic" if hostage-takers being executing stewardesses and passengers one by one.

Will not fly. But I admire your creativity and political incorrectness.

(A lot better than blissninnies quoting high school slogans about how if we end opression and hunger there will be no more such events.)
