What other reason could there be? the real reason the "other group" scores lower is that they are stupid. it has nothing to do with the fact that they have been oppressed by a state sanctioned system where they have been denied a simple pay, access to capital and real estate for hundreds of years and the last 40 years of "we started two hundred years early; work hard and catch up" model. and it is also not relevant that when you control for family wealth the sat score difference between the "other group" and white students disappears. nope they are genetically inferior. there can be no other reason.
